Freestanding dishwasher

And due to the fact that it is designed to stand in a complete kitchen, it is available in various colors so that it can be integrated into an already established interior. As a rule, the control panel in such a machine is located at the top of the door, on the front side.
Built-in dishwasher
The built-in dishwasher looks, naturally, so that it can be “sewn up” under the furniture. Accordingly, the control panel in such machines is located on the upper end of the door.
So what are the benefits of a dishwasher?
- First of all, it is a savings. For one complete cycle, the machine uses 15 liters of water. Now, remember how much water is wasted if you wash the dishes under running water. This order of 30-60 liters of water, which is very significant. The machine carries out water in small portions several times, depending on the mode used. All washing up occurs in the already selected water.
- Very easy to install. Everything is exactly the same as when installing the washing machine. We need only: one entrance from the plumbing with cold water and access to the sewer drain. You can install it, even with rudimentary skills, but still it is better to use the services of professionals.
- The machine is very easy to operate and maintain, which will make it easy to master all the nuances of using even people far from technology.
- Significant time savings. Usually, on average, the hostess spends on washing up to an hour of her time per day. Especially when a big family. Agree, this time can be spent with much greater advantage.
- One of the main advantages of a dishwasher is the ability to wash dishes just perfect. No one will ever be able to achieve such squeaky cleanliness of dishes. - Delayed start. It is very convenient. Suppose you need to leave for the night, and in the morning the dishes should be clean. You can postpone the start of the car, and then she will do everything herself.
- Due to the fact that when washing dishes in the dishwasher, no abrasives or washcloths are used, the dishes themselves will retain their luster and appearance much longer. The machine uses only jets of water and steam.
- Very quiet work. The work of modern machines is hardly audible, so washing the dishes at night when everyone is asleep will not disturb anyone.
Now let's look at the disadvantages of dishwashers:
- Saving water, but additional power consumption. If you receive considerable bills for the consumed electricity, then with the advent of the dishwasher, they will become even more. But now there are very economical class A cars, whose energy consumption is less than 1 kW / h.
- In order to start the car, you need to completely fill it with dirty dishes, and this is not always appropriate and convenient. It happens, for example, that you need to wash one or more items. During idle time, all kinds of insects can feed on food debris if they are in your latitudes.
- Dimensions. As we wrote above: a dishwasher is very similar to a washing machine. This also applies to considerable dimensions. Sometimes it simply has nowhere to put it. There are, of course, compact machines, but they are more likely intended for bachelors, because the entire 2-3 set of dishes fits in them, and they have low efficiency. That is why it is better to plan the purchase and installation of a dishwasher at the planning stage of the kitchen and its repair.
- The cost of detergents. When we wash dishes with our hands, we also spend on the purchase of various detergents, but in the car, in addition to special tablets, rinses and softeners of tap water are necessary.
- If there are pieces of food left on the dishes, they must first be removed, by ... manual rinsing.
- The rather high cost of the dishwasher itself. The price range, on average, ranges from $ 300 to $ 1000. Therefore, such a purchase should be taken into account when planning a budget.
