Russian actor Mikhail Efremov recorded a video message in which he asked for forgiveness from the family of Sergei Zakharov, who died in an accident, reports New Time.

In this video message, the actor said that he was ready to financially help the Zakharov family.
“Four days have passed since that damned Monday. I did not know what to say, and now I do not know. I do not know how and with what words to ask for forgiveness from the family of Sergei Zakharov. But I still ask, although I know that they will not forgive. Of course, I will help them by all means if they accept them, ”said Efremov.
The actor also noted that he was not going to use “connections and acquaintances” in order to “get away” from punishment.
“I do not understand how to live on. I know, many people think that they will excuse me as an artist. No, otmazyvatsya, including some of his connections or acquaintances, I do not intend and will not. Yes, and how can you take it off when everyone saw it, and I saw it when I overslept and walked away from the shock, ”said Efremov.
However, the family of the victim in the accident did not accept Efremov's apology.
This was reported by the lawyer of the family of the deceased Alexander Dobrovinsky.
“The family, of course, heard Mr. Efremov’s apology and considers them belated. Thus, the de facto apologies were not accepted by the family, ”said Dobrovinsky.
He added that if Efremov wants to make some contribution to the fight against drunken driving, this is his personal initiative, but it’s too late to talk about a peaceful settlement.
Representatives of the family of the deceased intend to seek a fair court decision.
