The son of Melissa Lovf and Chad Molinara Mikey was born with a serious heart disease, and when he was four months old, the doctors told her that he had only a few weeks left.
He died last October in the arms of his mother, surrounded by her love.
And eight months later, Melissa gave birth to two twin girls. And as she said Daily Mail Australia, it was definitely a gift from Mikey.
“We are delighted to announce the birth of our two daughters at 7:57 am and 7:58 am. Bonnie and Stevie Lovf weighing 2,315 and 2,555 kg, respectively, "- announced on Facebook 29 Jun partner Melissa, Chad.
“They are both very beautiful and healthy and their mom is recovering great. I am very proud of her, ”he added.
Since the girls had to stay in the hospital for a while, Melissa left the teddy lion, Mikey, with them. As she claims - the brother looks after them in this way.

When the doctors put Mikey on a disappointing diagnosis, Melissa began raising money to prolong her son’s existence for as long as possible and make his last days as comfortable as possible.
For the first time she found out that something was wrong with her future child, even at 12-th week of pregnancy, when doctors told her that the baby had some heart problems. As the pregnancy progressed, the predictions became worse.
Soon after Mikey was born, doctors noticed another complication affecting his veins - a condition called TAPVD (Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage).
At the age of 36 hours, the boy underwent open-heart surgery. Other operations followed, but unfortunately, in the end, Melissa and Chad were told that nothing more could be done. “There was nothing more that could be done for Mikey except to provide him with maximum comfort. The prognosis, which the doctors gave, is only a few months, ”says Melissa.
“The news broke us. Our little Mikey, who was so full of life and had just started to emerge as a person, had no chance, ”she said.
She added: "I do not regret the birth of Mikey, because while he had a chance for a good life, we fought for it."
Now Melissa is supporting Heartkids - An organization that helps children with heart disease and their families.
“Our Mikey was special, so he basically left us two little sisters. We like to think he knew and thought about it when I held him in my arms that night. "You'll be fine, I left you my sisters to take care of you."
