First lady, wife and just a happy woman: three images of Elena Zelenskaya for Vogue

After Vladimir Zelensky became president of Ukraine, not only political, but also fashionable publications began to closely monitor his wife Elena. So, the president’s wife became the face of the December issue of the glossy magazine.
“The elegant, restrained style of Elena Zelenskaya was appreciated by the entire fashion press, and the Ukrainian magazine Vogue even made the first lady the heroine of its December issue,” writes Woman.ru.
On the first version of the cover Zelenskaya appeared in the image of a real first lady: collected, serious and impeccable. Elena poses with a calm expression and does not look at the camera at all. A blazer with a turtleneck and a red Prada skirt emphasized the officiality of the picture.
In the second frame, Elena abruptly ceases to be a restrained, slightly stiff lady and turns into a loving wife and mother. Smiling, Elena looks over her shoulder, while Vladimir Zelensky gently takes her.

“Surrounded by the most important people of her life, she is different - touching and serene,” commented Vogue UA editor-in-chief Philip Vlasov.
On the digital cover, Elena is seen as a simple woman. Zelenskaya smiles sincerely and holds the collar of a Prada coat.

“We conceived an extremely honest and sincere story,” Vlasov emphasized.
In each shot, Elena looks real. Special thanks should be given to the Dutch photographer Paul Belaart, who was able to realize the idea of shooting surprisingly accurately.
