In India, the groom ran six kilometers through the snowdrifts in order to catch his own wedding.
About 80 people rushed to the celebration, which took place in the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand, but because of the snow fell, all roads were blocked. The family decided to send on foot those people whose presence was necessary for the ceremony, writes Lenta.ru.
One of them was the bridegroom Rainish Kurmachali. Together with several relatives, he made his way six kilometers through drifts so as not to be late for the wedding. The path was difficult because the roads were covered with snow, the groom’s brother, Ashish Gayrola, said.
The head of the village Triyuginarayan was also to attend the wedding, but he was stuck in a traffic jam. “Those who managed to get there, still enjoyed the wedding, which passed without any problems,” he said.
