It is especially worth using recommended techniques when visiting public places and at home, after returning from crowded places.
The TV presenter considers the duration from 40 seconds to a minute to be the optimal time for a simple hand-washing procedure. For less time, a person risks not thoroughly cleaning the entire surface of his hands, and for more time, he can deprive the skin of its natural protective barrier.
The technology of washing itself is simple, but has certain nuances. For example, it is important to rinse the space between your fingers.
To do this, Elena Malysheva advises, first, to twist the fingers, holding the right palm over the left hand and vice versa, then to twist the fingers and rinse hands with palms to each other, quotes edition.
It is also worth turning the fingers interlocked, paying particular attention to the thumbs. Further, Malysheva recommends wiping your hands not with an ordinary, but with a disposable towel, which should also be used to close the tap valves.
Such rules were developed by the World Health Organization, to which the Russian television popularizer of medicine refers.
