A month ago, our neighbor policeman had a birthday. Since we communicate well, we celebrated his birthday together, barbecued and so on. Had a great time. Among the guests were married couples in which the husband was American, and the wife was Russian or from the CIS. I have identified 8 of our female oddities that cause American men not so much rejection as smiles and tenderness.
1. Russian face
Yes, it turns out there is even such a term. The Russian face is our ordinary face, with whom we do something, walk down the street, read a book, watch TV. Jacob explains:

I recall a recent case when our mutual friends sent everyone a postcard with a photo of their newborn son, where he was from all angles. Jared's wife, Katya, told him about the belief that at this age you should not show your child - otherwise they will jinx it, bring damage and all that.

4. Home slippers and clothes
Americans are divided into two groups: some wear shoes at home, others barefoot. If you only knew how our love for home shoes, that is, for indoor slippers, touches them!
In the United States, the border between clothing for the home and for the street has been erased. Here you can meet a person in pajamas on the street - and for them this is absolutely normal. And walking in street clothes at home is also normal for them. Personally, I absolutely do not digest it.
And we, Russians, as soon as we get home, we immediately change our clothes at home. And let someone only risk their health to come shod in our house!
5. Mopping
How do we do the cleaning? Vacuum first, then wipe thoroughly all floors with at least water or some kind of agent.
Americans? A vacuum cleaner. All!!! To wash floors ?! No, not heard!
6. Ironing of linen and clothes
After washing, it is customary for Russian people to iron things.
For the Americans - washed, dried, folded. In many homes, there is no iron as such. And it is not at all shameful to walk in crumpled clothes - no one will say: "Why are you so rumpled, as if you got out of one place?" Well, except for the Russians, of course.
Therefore, husbands of Russian women can be seen immediately and from afar. In addition, our friends all admitted as one that they like to walk neat, well-groomed and ironed.
7. Different temperature perceptions
I thought that I was the only one - I could put on a hat and a scarf at + 10 ° C, while children in T-shirts and shorts would run down the street. Not!
I don’t know how this happens and why, but people from Russia here take the temperature in a completely different way. Probably due to humidity.
All the Americans with whom we spoke have a temperature of 72 ° F at home, that's 21-22 ° C - and for them this is normal. We have a minimum of 26 ° C, because I'm freezing! But I read that low temperatures are more beneficial for health, so we will slowly wean it.

8. Sharpening knives and taking out the trash is a purely man's business
In America, there is no difference at all who will do it - husband or wife. But American men really like to actually do this, because once again they hear from their wife: "You are my hero!"
