A British woman found a message from a mother who died of cancer on her wedding shoes.
Emma from the English village of Kibworth, Leicestershire, became engaged in 2016. A month after that, her mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. The bride really hoped that her mother would live to see the wedding scheduled for August 2019, but the woman died in 2017, writes Lenta.ru with reference to BBC News.
In early March, 38-year-old Emma received a package with shoes. The bride took out her shoes and found a message on the soles. “I wanted you to get a present from me on your wedding day. These shoes are my gift to you, ”she read on the left shoe.
Still not understanding from whom she received the gift, Emma took the right shoe in her hands and read: “I hope this day will be magical for you. I really, really, love you and hold on tight. Kisses, mom.

“I burst into tears. My heart seemed to break apart. I could not breathe, could not speak, ”confessed the woman.
Amanda Weise, the owner of an online store where the bride's mother ordered shoes, said that this pair of shoes "caused her a lot of emotions."
