In Florida, a car in which a baby was hijacked at a gas station. The CCTV footage shows a suspect dressed in a white T-shirt and dark pants who, at about 4 on Tuesday morning, are pulling a chair with a baby sleeping in it from the back of the car.
The owner of the gas station said that the man knocked on the door and gave the 5-month-old baby to the night worker before leaving for the stolen Kia Rio.
Police suspect that the car was stolen from another gas station six miles away when the mother got out of the car. The employee who was handed over the child immediately called 911. Half an hour later, the baby was returned to the mother. The car was found a few days later, but the offender is still wanted.
The real tragedy broke out in South Dakota on the same day, reports The Daily Mail. A five-year-old girl went under the water and died literally in 30 seconds. An Iowa mother and daughter came to the park to look at Sioux Falls when the girl was suddenly covered by a large cloud of water foam at the top of the waterfall and the child lost her balance.
Mom later told how she looked with horror at a daughter falling into the water, who immediately disappeared into the foam.
“There were seven of us, and it’s not that we didn’t look after her. It all happened in 30 seconds - there was nothing we could do and it was terrible! In a couple of seconds I became a parent, about whom they say on Facebook: how could he allow this ... ”.
The woman jumped into the water and tried to look for her daughter in the icy waterfall, eyewitnesses came to her aid, tried to remove a huge foam mass to find the girl, but as the ambulance staff later said, her life could not be saved. Sioux Falls is a popular tourist destination, which is visited by about 525 thousand people every year.
