In Britain, a cat died, who was 31 years old and who, quite possibly, was the oldest cat in the world, writes Air force.
During his unusually long life, Rabble lived with his mistress, Michel Heritage, in the English city of Exeter, the capital of Devonshire.
It was presented to the mistress in May 1988 on her 20th anniversary. According to 52-year-old Michelle, he was able to live such a long and happy life, because for lack of children she devoted all her love and care to him.
“He would have turned 32 in May, which is a huge achievement. He was a wonderful companion, with whom I was lucky to live for so long, ”she said in an interview with the British Daily Mail.
Together with Rabble, Michel also had a cat, Meg, who also had extraordinary longevity: she died at 25.
“If you take care of someone, it doesn't matter who you are, you extend their life,” Michelle said.

According to the owner of the cat, she was never interested in an official entry in the Guinness Book of Records, so she did not want to bother her pet with all kinds of unnecessary ceremonies.
As reported on its Facebook page by the City Vets veterinary clinic in Exeter, Rubble, who was an ordinary red cat with an admixture of a long-haired Maine Coon, was in good health, but in recent years pressure began to play pranks and he had to take medications.
On the occasion of his 30th birthday in 2018, even a small party was held in the veterinary clinic.
The owner of the cat said that before Christmas, Rabble suddenly became very decrepit, practically stopped eating, and only drank water, and she even noticed to her husband that this is probably the last Christmas for Rabble.
Once in late April or early May, when Michelle left for work, the cat went for a walk as usual and never returned. The owners unsuccessfully searched for him for two months before admitting that, apparently, he was no longer alive.
Many British tabloids wrote about his passing, and a page dedicated to Rabble English-language "Wikipedia".
Michelle believes that he went to die, as cats often do, but does not exclude that he could die under the wheels of a car.

Experts say that Rabble, who lived in the human dimension for 150 years, broke the previous record of longevity among cats, set by a Siamese cat from Texas Scooter.
The scooter was listed in the Guinness Book of Records on April 8, 2016 as a cat who lived 30 years, which is equivalent to 136 human years.
It is believed that the longest domestic cat in the world lived Crim Puff from Texas - 38 years old, who died in August 2005.
