The infamous coach Alexander Kirillov (Alex Leslie) and his student Anastasia Vashukevich (Nastya Rybka), who have been languishing in a prison in Thailand for allegedly organizing indecent parties, refused the services of a lawyer.
They and four other defendants "could not reach an agreement with him" on the line of defense, writes life.ru. At least that's what they wrote in the official address to the judge. Only after the refusal of a lawyer did they manage to communicate with the judge for the first time in a year and convey their position. On November 14, the so-called "technical" court session took place in Pattaya city. The court considered the petitions of the accused to completely abandon their lawyers. At the disposal Life got the text of the petition. It states that the defendants could not find a common language with a lawyer and develop a unified line of defense.
“The personal relations between the defendants are not smooth enough, so the defendants cannot reach agreement among themselves, and therefore cannot develop a common defense strategy,” writes one of the participants in the process. - For this reason, it is necessary that everyone protect only himself, without regard to all other respondents. However, this was previously impossible due to the fact that all eight defendants had a common lawyer who represented them all at the same time.
As told Layfu A source familiar with the process, various local lawyers are trying to cash in on the accused and extract information from them.
- Almost for the 10 months that we are in Thailand, we were approached by a lot of lawyers who offered their help, even for free. We spent a lot on various lawyers, but there was no sense from them. All lawyers hid information from us, lied, provided knowingly false information about the process, - said Layfu a source. “At the same time, they tried in every possible way to get information from us.” After all, they have a signed power of attorney to receive full information on the case, access to documents, and so on. We are so burned many times. Therefore, it was extremely important for us to completely abandon all lawyers ever declared in our case, and therefore, to block access to information.
At the same time, they abandoned the hitherto permanent translator named Willy.
- The parties are going to file a complaint against the translator. According to them, due to the fact that he distorted the meaning of the translated phrases, the judge had the wrong impression about the defense arguments, - said Layfu on condition of anonymity, a source familiar with the process.
At the same time, the source explained what other difficulties Lesley had encountered. According to him, the prison authorities impede the preparation of a coach for court sessions. The defendants do not even have the opportunity to sit down at the table, take a pen and paper to write something, the source says.
- Alex needs case materials. But he is not allowed to get acquainted with them, - the interlocutor explained. A petition has now been written from all eight of the accused, asking the court to order the prison authorities to ensure access to information and not interfere with the meetings of the accused with their relatives. This is not Leslie and Rybka's only misadventure. In September, it became known that the seduction coach had deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities. He needs hospitalization, he says.

Later it became known that Alexander Kirillov, Anastasia Vashukevich and eight other people were detained in Thailand on charges of illegal entrepreneurship, the creation of a criminal community “in order to satisfy the sexual desire of another person” and the organization of prostitution.
