The court of Pattaya refused to release on bail Anastasia Vashukevich (Nastya Rybka) and Alexander Kirillov (Alex Leslie), since they are foreigners and can leave the country before the sentence is pronounced.

Hearings in the case are scheduled for January 15-18. Eight detainees, including Rybka and Leslie, may be sentenced for conducting "seduction training" in February. They all deny their guilt.
From court documents it follows that the amount of bail for Vashukevich and Kirillov is about $ 17 thousand for two. One of their lawyers gave a personal guarantee that the defendants will appear in court. However, the judge refused the petition, explaining that they are foreigners and may leave the country before sentencing.
According to Finch, the defense intends to challenge this decision after two weeks in the court of appeal, increasing the amount of bail.

According to Leslie himself, he repeatedly demanded a medical examination, but they sent him a doctor who could not help him. Lawyer Leslie Satthaphon Siyokha said that he was not talking about any hospitalization. “Indeed, back in August, Alex sought medical help and, accompanied by prison guards, visited the Banglamung Hospital, the city government hospital. He was diagnosed with the condition of the blood vessels of the legs and the heart muscle, and prescribed the necessary medications, ”said Siyokha.
“The need for urgent hospitalization was not discussed, he was prescribed outpatient treatment,” the lawyer said.
According to the lawyer, at the moment the defense is working on the possibility of the defendants getting bail. However, in Thailand this is problematic: according to the law, a petition for the temporary release of the defendant on bail during the trial can be filed only by his lawyer or mortgagor, a Thai citizen who has no problems with the law. The Court of Appeal has already refused such a request once, referring to the fact that the probability of defendants escaping after being released is too high - they have neither permanent housing in Thailand nor work.
Earlier, Nastya Rybka and the other defendants stated that they were only listeners and participants of the training, for which they paid money, and were not its organizers.
“I did not participate in any orgies when I was here during the seminar, at night I slept quietly in my hotel room,” Vashukevich said.
Meanwhile, the wives of Russians arrested at a training in Thailand continue to prove the innocence of their husbands in terms of Russian and Thai legislation. Women who have been living in Pattaya for several months now and daily visit their arrested men at a training session on seducing husbands in the city prison, said that their spouses were just clients who paid a lot of money.
“And we are not able to understand why our husbands, who came to this training as clients, as listeners, have been sitting in impossible conditions for half a year in an overcrowded Thai prison, where they have fifty people in thirty-three cells and are accused of participating in some kind of criminal community, which allegedly provides services of an intimate nature. Prior to the beginning of court interrogations of witnesses, they are still in prison for almost half a year, and it’s not known how long the trial will last and what the result will be, ”the women told RIA Novosti.
The lingering journey of Vashukevich, Kirillov and their associates in Thailand’s isolation centers began on February 26. Rybka, Leslie, and eight more people were detained that day at the Pattaya Hotel for organizing a training for tourists, for which 43 Russian tourists signed up - both women and men. At the end of the training, the Russians were to become a seduction guru and receive a certificate as proof of qualification.
In addition to organizing prostitution, Vashukevich, Leslie and accomplices were also accused of illegal labor activity in Thailand. According to the second article, Rybka and accomplices were threatened with imprisonment for up to two years, as well as a fine of more than $ 3 thousand. However, on April 12, the fault of Rybka, Leslie and other defendants in this case was found unproven. As the lawyer Satthaphon Siyotha clarified, such a verdict was caused by the recent entry into force of changes in labor legislation.
