As part of a large study by the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA), “there was no increase in the risk of developing breast cancer with breast enlargement with silicone implants,” explained Anastasia Danishevich.
However, the risk of anaplastic large cell lymphoma associated with the introduction of textured implants is not excluded.
The latter were withdrawn by the FDA from the US market.

“Also, women often develop Shegner’s syndrome, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, melanoma.
In the presence of implants, an MRI scan is recommended as a diagnostic method. But traditional mammography and ultrasound are not informative, ”explained Anastasia Danishevich.
