Well, the signature made the appropriate - they say, no matter how you women, did not puff up, did not try to attract our attention and seem young after forty, you can’t hide your age.
No, I, of course, understand that "after forty" is a relative concept. And 41 years after forty, and seventy. And even eighty years is also, formally, after forty. But still, illustrating a post about women of the most prosperous age with the help of a photo of a lady who is 30-40 years older than the declared one is too much.
Another eccentric gave recommendations to forty-year-old women what to do. In his opinion, sitting with grandchildren, knitting, and in the case of complete weakness and disability of women, feeding pigeons can be considered worthy occupations. And I added a photo to the post like this one. This is how these very forty-year-old women look, who already have time to feed the pigeons. It is terrible to imagine how, in his opinion, women look ninety.

Why are there cranks, you read the endless tips of stylists who, judging by what is written, go to first grade, or even to a day nursery. What hairstyles for women after forty? Can a woman wear long hair after forty? Is a skirt above the knee permissible if you are forty-five? Reminds children who draw adults with a long gray beard and crutch, because for them they are forty, fifty, one hundred years old - the same antiquity.
It seems to me that the most profound theorists write such posts and tips. There are no women next to them: neither young nor mature. Neither beautiful nor gray mice. And twenty, not forty. Only the bitter hopeless loneliness and resentment of the entire female sex.
As for the real forty-year-olds, they certainly look different. But at this age there is one unconditional advantage. A woman can already decide how to look, how to get a haircut and what to do. Is not it?
