The family published a stinging obituary for the deceased mother, who abandoned her husband and two children to live with her spouse's brother.
Minnesota resident Caitlin Damlow died at the age of 80 a week ago. And the family will not be bored about her, about which relatives and informed the general public, tells The Daily Mail.
In obituary for the deceased mother, published in the newspaper Redwood falls, her children directly hinted that she did not meet their expectations. After Caitlin married Dennis Demlow in 1957, the couple had two children, Gene and Jay. Five years later, she became pregnant by her own husband's brother, Laila Demlow, and moved to California.
“She left her children, Gina and Jay, who were raised by her parents in Clements, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Shank,” reads the obituary. - She passed away on May 31, 2018 in Springfield and will now stand trial. Gina and Jay are not going to miss her and they understand that the world is better without her. ”
A photo of the original obituary from the newspaper flew around Twitter and went viral - started by a user named Stuand then reposted it more than 20 000 times.
Most users joke about Caitlin's novel, but some literally applaud Jay and Gina for not delaying their "tribute" to their mother. There were, however, those who condemned the newspaper for such a publication.
