In South Dakota, mother and daughter simultaneously received the title of beauty queens at an international competition.
The mother of four children, Tina Wilson, drove her youngest daughter, Morgan, to beauty pageants for several years, until she decided to take the podium herself last year. On the second try, the 56-year-old woman won the winner's crown and was awarded the title of Mrs South Dakota.Today".

After the award ceremony, Tina could not hold back her emotions and admitted that she never thought that she would be the beauty queen - after graduating from school she weighed 136 kilograms and was very worried about it.
“Food was my demon. I don't drink alcohol or smoke, the food was my consolation. I liked the good old American fast food: pizza, donuts, McDonald's, ”the woman said.
In the 2009 year, she performed an operation to reduce the volume of the stomach, began to lead a healthy lifestyle, she lost a kilogram of weight on 72 in 10 months and has not gained weight since. Tina noted that sometimes the old complexes pursued her, but winning the competition helped her to say goodbye to them forever.
Girls and women from four to 56 years old can participate in the Miss South Dakota contest. Participants undergo a private interview with five judges, then answer questions on stage, and also participate in a fashion show in a tracksuit and evening dress.
