These two tiny babies - uncle and niece. And it's not a joke. Callum Scrimshaw came to life at 35-year-old Laura, whose contractions began simultaneously with the bouts of her 17-year-old daughter Charmain, writes New York Post.
After 36 hours in the next chamber a girl Kara-Louise was born, who became the niece of little Callum. All this happened in a hospital in southern Scotland. Shocked, Laura and her husband, Stephen, were happy to be grandparents the day after their fourth baby was born. An interesting coincidence was the fact that both mother and daughter had contractions started a week earlier than the doctors had expected, and they arrived at the maternity ward at the same time. Both babies were taken by one midwife.
Laura told reporters: “I never thought that I would become a grandmother at 35, and that my little Callum would be an uncle at 36 hours. This is amazing!". Laura herself got married at 16, and by 35 she has four children and a little grandson. When her daughter's contractions began, the mother “gave” the ambulance to her, and she herself went to the hospital in her husband's car, accompanied by a police escort.
The 35-year-old mother and grandmother smiles, “Callum seems to know something. He woke me up for feeding at 4:40 am and a couple of minutes later I was told that a granddaughter was born. " In addition to Charmaine and Callum, Laura and Stephen also have a 14-year-old daughter, Chelsea, and XNUMX-year-old Stephen Jr.
