What to do if you have a cold, but you need to look perfect? The answer is simple - make the right makeup. What exactly, Vladimir Kalinchev, the official makeup artist Max Factor, told us.
Dry and pale skin
During the illness, the skin loses moisture, peeling and an unpleasant feeling of tightness may appear, writes Rambler. That is why, before you make make-up, it is important to thoroughly moisten it. To help creams and serums, as well as natural oils - they will all serve as a base for makeup.
Next, proceed to the selection of foundation. It is better to use light fluids with a matting effect. By the way, when the skin is severely dehydrated and flaky, apply the foundation with light patting movements with a sponge or fingertips.
Do not forget about blush: add only a couple of peach touches to the “apples” of the cheeks.
Blue circles under the eyes
First of all, use patches under the eyes, and only then proceed to disguise. And then your main assistant will be the concealer. Apply a little bit, barely touching the skin, and carefully blend. Then take the corrector and hide all the imperfections caused by a cold.
Blue circles will help to hide the orange tool. If the shade is closer to purple, then the yellow "rescuer" will do. A green tone corrector will hide redness and inflammation on the eyelids and around the wings of the nose.
Red and tired eyes
To not accidentally emphasize the already painful look, you can not use pearl shadows. Another “temporary” taboo: pink, lilac, green and blue colors. Look good will be golden, beige and brown.
Dry skin of the lips
Lips with colds often become dry and even cracked. Moisturize them generously: lubricate with balsam and hygienic lipstick. And for make-up, use a gloss or moisturizing lipstick of a neutral shade.
If a herpes appears before an important meeting, seal the inflamed part with a special round skin-colored plaster.
