Personal experience: about suburban life with humor

If you are a Michigan squirrel (which my husband calls “fluffy rats”), then you:
✔ Crawl through the trees like "Spider-Man" and deftly jump from branch to branch like "Tarzan". Why are there trees! You already know how to climb the walls of brick houses!
✔ You understand what a window glass is, and have already “documented” that “two-legged” will not do anything to you while they are inside their brick “cubes”.
✔ From birth you know that blacks are friends with blacks, and grays are friends with grays. Although, who are we trying to fool? Everything is competitors!
✔ You are constantly looking for other people's "stash" - not because they are tastier (although this is not excluded), but simply because I forgot where I buried my own.
✔ You regularly (and for free!) Dig up areas of “tailless two-footed”. The pit area is a cool new trend! You would be in landscape design!
✔ You know for sure that if seeds and seeds are poured into a bird feeder somewhere, this is all for you! Birds are just an excuse! In fact, the “tall proteins” (which humans) only care about you!
✔ Bigger birds are chasing you - they also want irgi! Oh yes, and you are afraid of dogs too! Though…. they are a lot of fun to tease while sitting high up in a tree!
✔ You regularly play with your brethren (who are also competitors), sweeping away everything in your path.
✔ Express your dissatisfaction with loud grunting sounds and sharp twitching of the tail. You can start right at sunrise and “turn up the volume” under the window of “bipedal people” - for “how long can you sleep when the squirrels are starving here?”.
✔ Your worst enemy is an American with a broom ?? chasing you around the yard (an unforgettable sight!)
