Personal Experience: California Roads

I love our California roads so much! I don’t know how things are in other states, but here we have almost everywhere (yes, of course, there are holes and even large ones, but this is the exception rather than the rule) the roads are full, even, and I am ready to mark the whole ode.
It seems to me that everything on the roads was specially made so that even the most tight driver (whom I sometimes consider myself to be) due to some experience, I understood everything.
Everywhere there are signs, if there is a one-way street, then there will definitely be a sign about it, almost everywhere there are separate two lanes for turning to the left, and everything is directly chewed and chewed!
For example, my favorite sign is that slow traffic should keep to the right lane, unless overtaking. Well, like, so the guys added, just in case, suddenly someone decides to overtake on the sidelines.
Misha sometimes asks me if I will drive in Russia when we get there? And I do not even know the answer to this question. It seems to me that the movement there is not so relaxed, it is not so conveniently organized, the marking is worse, and sometimes it is not there, well, I still don’t know half the rules. And God forbid, out of habit, turn right to a red light.
And the main road sign? This is the diamond that always put me into a stupor. In California, intersections without traffic lights are regulated by STOP signs - whoever arrived first was the first to start moving. If someone has an advantage, then the STOP sign will simply not be on his lane, which means that he must be skipped. There is also a separate sign “Yield” - it is often used when entering or exiting highways, where there is a lot of traffic.
We have great distances here. I already wrote that the nearest shops, doctors, gyms are all within 15-20 minutes by car and within a radius of 5 miles (or 8 kilometers). We moved in April and went to college, for example, 15 miles or 25 km). So there are people who get to work and long distances, so the movement is organized, first of all, convenient. Highway roads are mostly repaired at night and very quickly. If there is a traffic jam or an accident, then everything also quickly dissolves, but, of course, there are exceptions.
Well, I think, driving are not such nervous people, what can we say.
