The head of the Central Bank of Russia and the only Russian woman in the entire list turned out to be higher than Beyonce and Serena Williams in the 100 ranking of influential women of the world according to Forbes.
The head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina entered the top-100 of the most influential women according to Forbes, writes Tjournal. She, like in 2017, got the 49 position - it's higher than celebrities like Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Serena Williams.
Nabiullina is the only Russian woman in a hundred influential women. In 2017, Margarita Simonyan, the head of Russia Today TV channel, was included in the list with her. At the same time, in 2018, Forbes has included in the top 200 of the richest Russians a record number of women - six, which is more than in previous years.
Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel became the leader in the list of influential women 2018 of the year - this is the eighth time in a row when she took the first line. It is followed by British Prime Minister Theresa May and Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde.
