Charity
The couple asked guests to make charitable donations to their chosen foundations in lieu of wedding gifts. Two of the selected charities were supported by Princess Diana. One of these, the Children's HIV Infected Association (CHIVA) provides resources for HIV positive children and young people in Ireland and the United States; second - Crisis - she provides assistance to the homeless in England, Scotland and Wales.
