In Slovenia, presented a wooden monument to the first lady of the United States Melania Trump, writes buro247.ua.

The statue, carved from a tree trunk, is set near Sevnitsa, the native city of Melania.

The idea of ​​such an art object belongs to the American artist Brad Downey, famous for his urban sculptures and interventions in urban space. The sculpture of Melania became part of his debut solo exhibition in Slovenia called This Echo.

The local craftsman Ales Tsupevets worked on the creation of the wooden first lady. The statue is made in real size. Melania Trump is dressed in a blue suit and waves her hand almost like at the inauguration of Donald Trump. Therefore, many on the Web joke that the first lady and her statue are like "twins" or "two drops of water".

Local residents of the statue were not very happy, they call the wooden Melania a shame, ugliness and compare it with Smurfetta, the heroine of The Smurfs.

What Melana Trump herself thinks about this is unknown.
