What can be done? There is an unexpected solution for any unwanted refrigerator odors: sodium bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate, baking soda in the USA).
If your refrigerator starts to smell, try wiping the walls, shelves and door seals with soda bicarbonate solution in a ratio: tablespoon (15-20g) to 1 liter of warm water (or 1 / 2 ounces of soda to 4 cups of water).
To stop the onset of odors in the future, leave an open container with bicarbonate soda in the refrigerator. Before you need to replace the composition, it will take about three months. Try to date the container so that you remember when to change it.
Do not forget that regular cleaning of the refrigerator prevents odors from developing - wipe all interior surfaces with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a soft dry cloth. Clean the outside of the refrigerator with a detergent solution by wiping all metal parts with a damp cloth.
