Bags from the Swedish company IKEA do not give rest to famous designers. After the crazy popularity of the bag, released by the brand Balenciaga, Virgil Ablo, creative director of the Off-White brand, took up the baton to improve the corporate blue package. - reports Buro24 / 7.

“It became interesting for society to take familiar and ordinary things - like this package from IKEA - and create something original. What I like in cooperation with the company is that I can remake the classic model to an individual style, ”said Ablo.
The Swedish company confirmed its cooperation with Virgil Ablo and at an international conference IKEA Democratic Design Days (“Days of Democratic Design”), Abloh gave a lecture on the specifics of his work. After the lecture, Virgil presented a new design of a shopping bag Frakta IKEA. The exact date of the start of sales of the new bag is not yet known, but users Instagram are already actively discussing photos and videos that Virgil published in his account.
