A new way of bringing a child into the world - a sparing caesarean section, allows the mother to recover faster after the operation, get out of bed after three hours and walk on their own through the 4-5 hours, they write Vesta Israel.
Caesarean section is an operation that goes through a huge number of women and is one of the most common surgical procedures in the world. Despite the fact that for many expectant mothers, caesarean treatment seems to be a successful and painless way to avoid birth pangs, the traditional “old school” operation exposed the mother's life to serious risks, in addition, required cavity intervention, large blood loss and difficult-to-heal stitches.
Israeli scientists have begun to practice a new way of carrying out caesarean section. After such an operation, the recovery period is faster and easier, and healing is accelerated several times. Complications are reduced to a minimum. The old technique implied transverse cuts of the skin and uterus, as well as extending the muscles of the abdominal wall and catheterization of the bladder. The modern method requires a small longitudinal incision along the line of muscle fibers, sparing muscle retraction and lack of contact with the abdominal cavity. A catheter is also not required. And instead of imposing hard outer seams and brackets, the skin is glued with a special bio-adhesive.
The method was invented by Dr. Denis Fauk, and was first tried by the Israeli doctor Israel Hendler in Netanya. It is important that during the operation, the mother sees the baby immediately after birth. Hendler says that after such an operation, the pain is much less, and it goes away faster and faster. And you can walk after a couple of hours (after the "old" Caesarean was allowed no earlier than eight).
