In the traditional annual 100 ranking of the most influential women in the world, according to Forbes, daughter of US President Donald Trump 36-year-old Ivanka took 19-place. This rating put her much higher in influence than her stepmother and the first lady of the state Melania, who was not listed on the list at all.
The first place in the ranking was taken by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the second was the British Prime Minister Teresa May, and the third went to Melinda Gates, the wife of the head Microsoft. The wife of the former US president and former presidential candidate of America, Hillary Clinton, took the Forbes 63 line (last year she was in second place). The list also included two Russians, the head of the RT channel Margarita Simonyan and the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina.
Ivanka Trump made her debut in the TOP-20 list and became one of the most promising newcomers in this ranking. Journalists said that Ivanka became more influential than Melania because “she chose to be like that.”
Quote Forbes: "Ivanka has become the de facto first lady, because her stepmother Melania prefers to stay out of the spotlight." For comparison, ex-first lady Michelle Obama ranked 13th on last year's list.
