These Corgis have a truly royal life, writes OK.Magazine.
A former employee of Buckingham Palace told how the favorites of Elizabeth II live in the heart of London and how many people are required for their complete happiness. Darren McGrady, who had been the queen's chef for 15 years, admitted that at the very beginning of his career, he was entrusted with preparing food for fluffy short legs, which have a very refined taste and a carefully thought-out menu.
McGrady noted that the most important thing was to cut the meat into thin slices and make sure that they did not have a single bone: “Imagine if one of them choked, I would have big problems!” He added that the food of the Corgi was delivered by their personal lackeys, nicknamed Doggy-1 and Doggy-2, but the queen preferred to feed the pets personally.
When Darren worked in the palace, Elizabeth II had 12 dogs of this breed, but now she has only two pets of a specially bred breed - a cross between a corgi and a dachshund. Their names are Volcano and Candy. Interestingly, other members of the royal family do not have special feelings for these dogs, because they are very loud. Prince Harry even admitted once that he spent 33 years of his life listening to his grandmother’s favorites constantly bark at him.
