The performer believed all her life that her mother had died in childbirth, but it turned out that the woman died due to the fact that she was attacked and severely beaten, the Russian media write.
“They told me: she was on the train, and they hit her in the face with a brick,” the 66-year-old star told the terrible truth.
Previously, the artist believed that her mother died on the night of February 24, 1954, when she gave birth to her daughter in the Kiev maternity hospital. Allegedly, on that day, the medical staff celebrated the Day of the Soviet Army and the Navy, and for this reason no one approached the woman in labor overnight. As a result, Elena Chaika allegedly died during childbirth.

But Ouspenskaya managed to find out that her mother went to look for work. And during the train ride she was attacked.
“I called my influential friends in Kiev to break through all the cemeteries there. There should be a name registration, but there is no Elena Chaika in any cemetery. My grandmother told me that in 1954 there was a hunger strike, and she probably left to look for work, ”said Lyubov Uspenskaya.
Ouspenskaya added that she is now going through a difficult period, which, among other things, is connected with the relationship with her daughter: for a long time they practically do not communicate.
