Protecting three young children from a falling tree, the woman received heavy injuries and now plans to sue millions of dollars from the city of 200, reports NBC New York.

In one of the warm days of August, Ann Monoki Goldman was walking with her three children in New York Central Park. A woman was carrying a newborn daughter in a carrying bag and rolling a stroller with two sons, two and four years old, when a tree suddenly fell on the family. Covering the children, the mother took the whole brunt.
About ten minutes later, the woman lay unconscious, pressed to the ground by an enormous weight of a tree, which led to the critical state of the victim and caused serious injuries. By the time the first eyewitnesses ran up to Ann, crushed by a tree, she was already unconscious and on the verge of life and death. The children were also hospitalized, but according to the press, nothing threatens their health.
According to the lawyer, at the moment Goldman is completely immobilized, unable to breastfeed the baby, for about 2-3 months she will not even be able to turn her head, and will never be able to walk normally anymore.
The family plans to sue the city authorities of New York. The amount of the claim, according to the victim’s lawyer, will be 200 million dollars.
