US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania made a wedding gift to Prince Harry and Megan Markle, making a donation to a charitable foundation. Voice of America.
The White House reports that the donation will be transferred to one of seven charitable funds, to which the prince and his bride have called for sending money as a gift.
In which of the funds the donation will be made is not reported yet.
Earlier, Harry and Megan asked guests not to send wedding gifts to them personally, but to make contributions to charitable foundations. They chose seven foundations that deal with women's rights, the development of sports, the preservation of the environment, military organization, as well as assistance to homeless people and HIV patients.
Note that the Trump couple was not invited to the wedding in the UK.
