In August, 2016, Tiffany Moratai from California, learned that she had breast cancer. And four days later, she discovered that she was pregnant and faced a terrible choice: to take the risk and keep the pregnancy or have an abortion.
37-year-old Tiffany was well aware that she could not risk herself and refuse treatment - her son Alexander needed a lively and healthy mother, writes Life.ru. The woman decided to find out whether it is possible to carry out chemotherapy without interrupting pregnancy. And although 7 doctors from various clinics persuaded her to abandon this venture and just have an abortion, Tiffany was stubborn.

In September, 2016, a woman underwent surgery, and in October she underwent her first chemotherapy course. Tiffany admits that treating cancer during pregnancy was incredibly difficult. She constantly felt tired, and the weakness of the pregnancy was superimposed on the weakness of the medication. In addition, the woman was worried that chemotherapy would still harm the fetus.
“Deep down, I was very scared, but I needed to be strong and determined.”
Daughter Tiffany Zoe was born in March 2017 of the year - five weeks ahead of schedule. During labor, the woman tried to maintain her composure, but in fact was terrified. Fortunately, all the fears were in vain - Zoe was completely healthy.
“She was completely healthy and breathed on her own. She had ten fingers and toes. I literally melted. I was able to breathe calmly for the first time in several months. ”
Tiffany says that after giving birth, she visited several doctors who advised her to have an abortion. They all just threw up their hands and said, "We're so glad we were wrong." Now Tiffany is in remission, and Zoe is growing and developing, like all normal children. The woman admits: she is happy that she dared to argue with the doctors and left the baby.
“She is a miracle child, she is strong and daring. It was the best decision I have made in my life, and I am proud of it. "
