Star couple, 44-year-old Ben Affleck and 44-year-old Jennifer Garner filed for divorce, reports TMZ. They decided to leave the company in 2015 year, and now, after 2 year, to the great disappointment of the fans, they decided to do it by law. They refused the services of lawyers and filed applications simultaneously.
Not so long ago, the media reported that the couple is ready for reconciliation, as they have postponed the divorce process in order to sort out their feelings. But the miracle did not happen, and the marriage of Ben and Jennifer still could not be saved.
Ben and Jennifer have 3 children: Violet, 11, Violet, 8, Serafina, and Samuel, 5. By prior arrangement, child custody will be shared, but the issue of alimony will be resolved in court. All the accumulated capital of the couple agreed to divide in half, as they did not enter into a marriage contract.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner got married in 2005. Before Jennifer, Affleck had a relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez. Ben was even engaged to Lopez for a while, but it never came to a wedding, the couple broke up. Garner was married to actor Scott Foley before the marriage with Afflek, but not for long, just 2 for the year, from 2002 to 2004 for the year.
Causes of divorce is called alternately the betrayal of Ben, the passion for gambling, or his addiction to alcohol. The actor was even undergoing treatment for alcoholism.
The process of divorce is scheduled to end within 6 months.
