Anti-vaccination: in the United States called the states where they most often refuse vaccination

Experts from Texas studied anti-vaccination trends in the United States using the example of 18 states and compiled a list of districts where prophylactic vaccinations are most often refused.
As part of the study, experts collected data on vaccinated and unvaccinated children from 2009 to 2010 and then during 2016 and 2017, says Nan. However, they considered only cases where parents refused to vaccinate children for religious or philosophical reasons.
It turned out that the most anti-vaccine state in the list of studied points on the map was Idaho. Eight out of ten districts in which parents are most actively opposed to vaccinations are located in Idaho. In Kamas County alone in the southern state of 27, percentages of kindergarteners were unvaccinated for non-medical reasons.
Also, anti-vaccination views are widespread in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Michigan and Texas. In all these states, children are admitted to kindergartens without vaccines, which their parents have refused without medical grounds.
But in California, Mississippi and West Virginia, refusal to vaccinate without strict medical contraindications is prohibited by law. There has recently been a steady increase in the number of vaccinated children (in particular against measles, rubella, and parotitis — there was an outbreak of measles in California's 2014, Disneyland was the focus of infection) and a decrease in the incidence of everything that is prevented by vaccination.
