After the injury, Sam announced on social networks about leaving the sport.
“On Friday evening I went to the competition for the last time as a gymnast. After 18 years, it was time to leave. Sports taught me hard work, humility, decency and dedication. He tested me for strength all the time and everything did not end as I planned, ”she wrote on Instagram.
In the future, she plans to devote herself entirely to science. This year she will receive a degree in aerospace engineering, after which she must be hired by Boeing.
