She said that the restaurant entered her position and compensated for the food of Gonzales, asking her to pay only for wine.
Shocked by the incident, the girl began to search for stories on the Internet and saw that this was already happening last summer.
So, in August, 2016 Gonzales invited another victim for a first blind date in a restaurant in Long Beach, where he ordered food for himself at $ 100: appetizer, steak, wine.
Last Tuesday, Gonzalez was charged with fraud and petty theft, but the defendant did not admit his guilt.
The woman noted that he was very pleased with himself. Then he urgently needed to answer the phone. She had to pay the $ 163 bill herself. When she tried to contact him through a dating site, he simply blocked her.
Having written her story on social networks, she learned that several more victims had fallen into the same trap. One said that Gonzales had ordered $ 100 food for himself, but after going to the bathroom, he never returned.
The police said that Gonzales also escaped from the barbershop, without paying for his haircut.
The court also forbade Gonzalez to use dating sites and similar mobile apps.
One of the women, who asked not to be named, in an interview with reporters joked about how his food preferences would change behind the bars.
“He doesn't have to worry about food anymore. Now he will be fed three times a day, ”she said.
