Three Chinese women were detained at an airport in South Korea after border guards could not recognize them. New York Post.
The girls, whose faces are healed after plastic surgeries, turned out to be completely different from their own passport photographs, so the Seoul immigration service decided not to let them out of the country back to China.
Three twenty-year-old girlfriends decided to take advantage of a nationwide Chinese vacation week and went to South Korea to do their own beauty - all three had plastic surgery on their face. Naturally, as is usually the case, recovery takes time. The girls did not have this time, so they gathered to fly home in the form in which they had: swollen faces, swollen eyes and huge noses and lips, and yes even rewound with bandages and stuck with plasters.
The border guards at the airport could not confirm their identities, despite having a full package of necessary documents, which made unlucky girlfriends have to miss their flight home. Photos of unfortunate passengers quickly became viral and scattered over the Internet.
It is known that South Korea is a popular place for medical tourism in China. Every year tens of thousands of Chinese fly there to be treated or to change their appearance.
