Amanda became famous for her numerous plastic surgeries, which she never hid. She was born a trans diva in New Jersey (at birth - Arman). Her father is a chemical engineer, her mother is a housewife who suffered from schizophrenia.
One of Lepore's earliest memories is of a recurring dream in which she was trapped, like Rapunzel in a tower. Thanks to the nanny, she learned how to sew, which came in handy when she worked at a men's club in Newark as a teenager. There she made costumes for strippers, one of whom was trans and paid Lepora with estrogen from the black market.
Three decades before transgender rights would become a serious social problem, Lepora, at an early age, knew that she was trapped in her own body. Back in school, she changed her name to Amanda and finished her studies with a tutor.
Her obsessive physical transformation was caused by the fact that she considered herself “not feminine enough,” says Keni Valenti, a loyal friend of Amanda.
Also in the memoirs, Lepore spoke about the difficult relationship with her first lover, whom she introduced as Michael. She was 18 years old when they met. According to her, he beat her after learning of her beloved’s biological secret. But his father stood up for Amanda. It was he who paid for her sex change operation.
Soon, Amanda and Michael got married, but their marriage ended in failure. She packed up and left for New York. From that moment began her club life. For many years she has been performing in various clubs around the world.
Lepora has undergone cosmetic changes in almost all parts of her body that can be changed. The buttocks are made with silicone, the nose has decreased, the forehead and hairline have risen. Her cheeks are regularly pumped up with fillers, and her breasts are enlarged three times.
To emphasize the hourglass shape, Amanda removed the lower ribs. For this procedure I had to go to Mexico. Her latest treatments include a laser treatment designed to make the skin around her jaw tighter.
"It looks like a facelift, but you don't get cut," Lepore admitted enthusiastically.
