The online store Wish.com presented an advertisement for a new model of especially wide and elastic plus-size tights. Everything would be fine, but he did it in such a manner that insulted obese women (and not only them) all over the world, says New York Post.
What did the manufacturer come up with? Huge tights pulled on thin models almost with his head. Most likely, this was to convince girls with more rounded shapes that such tights would fit a figure of any size. Very slender models, wrapped in tights, very few people seemed attractive, not to mention the fact that fat women are not interested in such a product. The advertisement was called offensive and unethical, although some found it funny.
Most likely, the online store does not share the popular point of view and believes that it is better to misuse the product in not very correct advertising than to shoot and display a half-naked plus size model on the site. As a result, the product was marked “running out”, and most likely, it will be withdrawn from sale if it does not occur to anyone to reshoot the advertising photos.
