Retired Supreme Court Justice Stephen Levinson presided over the marriage of Abigail Kavanakakaa and Veronica Gale Worth. The wedding announcement stated that women were partners during the 21 year. Levinson claims that same-sex couples often ask him to hold their wedding ceremonies. He is considered the champion of same-sex marriage since their resolution in 1993.
