To spoil a favorite thing, as practice shows, is very easy. But there are simple ways that can save the day!
Rambler assembled 18 simple life hacks that can save your favorite things.
Unpleasant smell from jeans
This problem is solved quite simply: just gently roll up the jeans and put them in a plastic bag, and then in the freezer. The freezer will destroy most of the bacteria that cause odor, and you don’t have to worry that several washings in a row will ruin the color of your jeans.
Ugly stains on clothes in the armpits
Soda and lemon juice will help you - mix them and rub them with the resulting stains. If the item is made of dense material, leave the mixture for a short time at the spot, then rinse the item and send it to the wash.
Strong odors on clothes
Vodka will help you (but not in the usual quality): apply a small amount on clothes and send them to the wash. If you do not have time for washing, spray vodka on the thing and let the alcohol evaporate with the smell.
Stains from foundation
Inadvertently hit the tone on the bright thing? Try using a cream or shaving foam - rub a spoonful of the substance on the stain before sending the thing in the wash.
Lipstick stain
To remove stains from lipstick on clothes will help hair spray. Apply varnish on the stain and leave it for a few minutes. After that, gently blot the stain and send the clothes to the wash. Important: before applying this method, make sure that the label on the soiled thing is not worth a note on the prohibition of dry cleaning.
Dirty suede shoes
Sometimes coping with stubborn suede shoes that are not amenable to a special brush helps ... nail file. Just do not choose the "harsh" metal options and clean in one direction!
Moisture stains on leather shoes
Try to remove them with vinegar - apply it to your toothbrush and gently rub it with a stain.
Lacquered shoes
The usual wadded disk with Vaseline applied on it will cope with them.
Well-worn leather shoe
If your favorite shoes or ankle boots look a bit “wrinkled”, wipe them with a towel with a small amount of moisturizer (or lotion) - they are guaranteed to “perk up”!
Unpleasant smell from sneakers after training
After visiting the gym, just put some baking soda inside the sneakers - it will absorb sweat and an unpleasant smell.
Tarnished Patent Leather Shoes
Glitter will return your glass and mirror cleaner to your favorite shoes.
Loose points
If the shining of the handle on your sunglasses and you do not have a mini-screwdriver, temporarily fixing the screw in place will help clear nail polish.
Detachable button
If the button on the clothes started to come off, the same nail polish will help you to fix the thread. The main thing is to try to put it a little and do it carefully!
Spots from red wine
White wine will cope with them: soak the spoiled item in wine for a couple of minutes, and then send the clothes to the wash.
Grease stains on clothes
They can handle a delicate dishwashing detergent - apply it in a small amount on the stain before washing.
"Catch" on clothes
It is very easy to put the thread back into place - gently pull the fabric around the hook in different directions.
"Arrow" on pantyhose or stockings
And again transparent nail polish comes to the rescue - apply it on the “arrow”.
Poorly working zipper on the jacket
If the zipper on your favorite leather jacket does not fasten properly, “walk” on it with a cotton pad with a small amount of Vaseline.
