Six babies were born on 30 week at VCU Medical Center, and this was the first time in the history of Richmond Hospital. The whole 17 years of Ajibola and Adeba Taiwo tried to have a child, but they did not succeed.
This month, Adzhibola Taiwo gave birth to gear in a hospital in Richmond, and doctors say that 3 boy and 3 girls feel well with their mother.
On Thursday, babies were still in the neonatal intensive care unit in the hospital. Their mother was discharged last week, but was involved in infant care, a spokeswoman for the hospital, Shira Pollard, said.
The babies were born in 8: 26 am 11 May with the help of a medical team from 40 people. According to officials, Ajibola gave birth after about 30 weeks using a caesarean section.
Children weigh from 740 grams to 1300 grams. According to the doctors, children develop well and grow stronger. Pollard said that doctors are not yet ready to discharge the babies from the hospital. She also said that parents and doctors are not talking to the media right now.
