In Kazakhstan, parents found their teenage daughter dead, sleeping with a smartphone, writes TVNZ with reference to Tengrinews.kz and local authorities.
According to the preliminary version of law enforcement agencies of the republic, the 14-year-old schoolgirl put the phone on charge and fell asleep listening to music. In the morning, the smartphone’s battery exploded, and as a result the girl received injuries incompatible with life.
It is specified that police officers did not find signs of violence on the schoolgirl’s body, and qualified her death as an accident.

A similar case was in Kurgan, where a seven-year-old boy died in July due to a mobile phone explosion. The gadget exploded in the hands of a child when he put it on charge.
